Inadequate gas remains a major problem in Nigeria’s power sector according to Advisory Power Team

The report obtained by The Daily, www.thedaily-ng.com, stated: “On March 15 2020, average energy sent out was 4,187 MWH/Hour (up by 140.65 MW from the previous day). 3,641 MW was not generated due to unavailability of gas.”

It stated: “The power sector lost an estimated N1, 894,000,000 (One Billion Eight Hundred and Ninety Four Million Naira) on March 15 2020 due to constraints from insufficient gas supply, distribution infrastructure and transmission infrastructure.”
